Water resources
Indispensable for life on the planet, water, in Ibema, is treated with the respect it deserves. Our unit in Embu das Artes consumes three times less water resources and generates 20% less effluents - the plant still accumulates one of the highest water reuse rates in the country.
In Turvo, our plant has also become more efficient: we reduced water use by almost 10% and started producing less effluents. In both units we carry out the appropriate treatment and return to the environment, with superior quality, the water captured for the production process.

Solid features
Our commitment to continuous improvement is reflected in the responsible management of solid waste generated in our production. Sustainable alternatives such as recycling, coprocessing and composting are prioritized in the final process and destination. Check out:
Landfill Zero: in Embu das Artes, no residue is sent to Industrial Landfills. Blur also already processes about 80% of its waste.
Biomass: in the Blue unit, we perform wood peeling. The waste generated in this process is used as fuel for our boiler, which is fed by biomass for steam generation to the plant.
